Brian Raymond AttorneyBrian Raymond grew up in San Angelo. His life experience has driven his passion for the law and fighting for individual rights. His law firm motto of “We’re In Your Corner” came from his focus on courtroom litigation and tenacious advocacy of making sure everyone has a voice.

Trial Attorney

Mr. Raymond’s experience in trial includes criminal, family and personal injury law cases. He has handled many high-profile cases involving family matters, civil issues, murder, manslaughter, large-scale drug trafficking, DWI, restraining order and sex crimes. He has helped clients facing life in prison or millions of dollars in question. His courtroom experience has earned him a reputation as a formidable attorney. Brian constantly trains and improves his skills through national seminars on trial advocacy and jury selection. His goal is always to be the strongest voice for his clients at every stage of the case. Brian knows that experience and tireless preparation is what wins cases.

Brian brings poise and confidence in the courtroom. Taking on experts who present unfounded opinions. Fighting back against a system with massive resources are why experience in trial matters. Asserting a defense against oppressive and unfair situations starts from day one on every case. Colleagues and former clients describe his command of the courtroom as unwavering when questioning the most seasoned experts, cops and investigators.

Brian Raymond graduated from Central High School in 1997. He went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Political Science in 2002. Mr. Raymond was selected and served in Alaverdi, Armenia for the United States Peace Corps from 2003 to 2005. As a volunteer, he established a local Red Cross organization, taught classes and built a community playground. His experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer led him to law school and his passion for helping others in difficult situations.

Mr. Raymond attended South Texas College of Law from 2005 to 2008. During law school, he was selected to intern with the United Nations at the ICTY in The Hague, Netherlands. He worked alongside one of the world’s best criminal defense attorneys and gained invaluable experience. Brian also had the privilege to intern for U.S. Federal Judge Nancy Johnson in the Southern District of Texas in Houston.

After law school, Mr. Raymond worked as an Assistant District Attorney for about three years in Nueces County. After gaining his trial skills as a prosecutor, Mr. Raymond worked for two nationally prestigious firms in Houston and Austin. He spent those years working with award winning attorneys and building a great reputation of his own.

In an effort to give back to the community that raised him, Mr. Raymond moved back and opened up the Brian Raymond Law firm in San Angelo, Texas. Brian Raymond knows his clients as individuals not simply as defendants/plaintiffs in a case. Brian gives clients peace of mind by returning phone calls promptly and preparing them before every stage in their case. Brian has become a resource for media seeking information and commentary on criminal matters. He has worked on high-profile cases with media coverage.

When not in court, Brian enjoys spending time exploring San Angelo with his beautiful wife (Carolina), dogs (Bernie and Millie), reading, golfing, supporting local sports and paying attention to college football (Go Aggies).
